Apartment Fire in The Alief Area WHAT: Apartment Fire WHEN: April 24, 2021 at 5:57 a.m. WHERE: 10601 South, 77099 INJURIES: No reported injuries. PROPERTY SAVED: $250 thousand in estimated damage. DAMAGE: $70 thousand in estimated damage. CAUSE: Under Investigation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes and found smoke coming from a 2-story apartment. They forced entry into the unit on fire and conducted a primary search. Crews extinguished the fire and established property conservation. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 73, 76 and 68 responded to this incident.
