House Fire in The Gulfgate Riverview / Pine Valley Area WHAT: House Fire WHEN: April 18, 2021 at 12:26 p.m. WHERE: 2000 block of Des Jardines, 77023 INJURIES: No reported injuries. PROPERTY SAVED: Not available. DAMAGE: Not available. CAUSE: Under Investigation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find light smoke coming from a 1-story house. A fire was found inside the wall by the front porch. Crews forced open the front door and found light smoke inside the home. A primary search was completed with no one found. They opened up the wall and flooring and extinguished several hotspots. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 18, 25 and 40 responded to this incident.
