House Fire in The Trinity / Houston Gardens Area One Civilian Injury WHAT: House Fire WHEN: April 22, 2021 at 6:13 p.m. WHERE: 7300 block of Sayers, 77016 INJURIES: One civilian transported to the hospital. PROPERTY SAVED: $71 thousand in estimated property saved. DAMAGE: $2 thousand in estimated damage. CAUSE: Unintentional ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find and extinguish a fire inside a home. A resident had accidentally spilled gasoline and flicked ashes, causing a flash fire. He suffered from burns and was transported to the hospital by HFD. Crews from Stations 9, 19 , 39 and 43 responded to this incident.
