UPDATE: Surveillance Video in Fatal Shooting at 900 East 35th Street

Houston police have released surveillance video in the fatal shooting of a man found in the 900 block of East 35th Street about 6:30 p.m. on April 18.

The victim is identified as Roger John Lewis, 54.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Wohlgemuth and D. Williamson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Lewis’ vehicle stopped in the roadway. He was deceased in the driver’s seat.
The shooter is believed to have fled in a gray sedan.

At 10 a.m. TODAY (Wednesday, April 28), investigators in the HPD Homicide Division and family members of Mr. Lewis will be available to answer questions regarding this investigation in the first floor Media Briefing Room of the HPD Edward A. Thomas Building at 1200 Travis.
