Warehouse Fire in The Golfcrest / Bellfort / Reveille Area WHAT: Warehouse Fire WHEN: April 19, 2021 at 12:19 a.m. WHERE: 6102 Dixie, 77087 INJURIES: No reported injuries. PROPERTY SAVED: Not available. DAMAGE: Not available. CAUSE: Unintentional. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from the entrance of a warehouse. A small fire was found consisting of a pallet loaded with nails and plywood. The fire had extended to a small bunch of cardboard as well. Crews quickly knocked the fire down and a extension cord was found plugged into a squirrel cage fan and melted, catching the pallet on fire. They ventilated the smoke from the building which had only minor damage. Firefighters from Stations 40, 26, 46, 35, 36 and 24 responded to this incident.
